Rangi Ruru Early Childhood College qualifications are recognised internationally, and exciting career opportunities are available both in New Zealand and overseas.
At Rangi Ruru Early Childhood College we are fully aware of the expectations of agencies, employers and early childhood centres. Our association with a number of agencies both in New Zealand and overseas, enables the College to maintain important professional connections, which support our graduates in seeking employment.

Professional development opportunities are an important feature of graduate support and a graduate newsletter is published twice a year as a means of maintaining contact with the hundreds of graduates of the College.
Our community of graduates is strong. Graduates keep in touch with the College and maintain links with each other, across New Zealand and across the world.
The Maternity Nanny Course is offered to graduates with at least one year’s experience with children. The Maternity Nanny course is planned with a specific focus on the role of a nanny caring for newborn infants and mothers.
Many graduates renew their involvement with the College as placement families, offering placement opportunities to Year 1 students in their homes. These associations are an invaluable connection for students, College staff and graduates.
